London NextGen Network
Fourfront Group’s NextGen committee is delighted to announce the launch of ‘London NextGen Network’, a brand new initiative that aims to bring together young professionals from across the commercial property industry and beyond for an evening of networking and knowledge sharing.
The event, on 1st December, will cover a variety of activities, including a surprise guest speaker, business card raffle and demonstrations of Virtual Reality, an initiative that Fourfront Group are currently using to showcase designs to clients.
NextGen was founded in 2014, launching officially in 2015 and is open to all of Fourfront Group’s employees aged 30 and under. To date, the company has run a series of successful events for staff, including educational and career development seminars and site visits, the aim being to connect young people within the business, identify and retain talent, then accelerate career progression. The committee is composed of six members of staff who represent all four businesses within the Fourfront Group.
Jessica Soper, a committee member and Project Manager at Area Sq, said: “We are excited about the event and hope that it will continue NextGen’s aims in benefitting young professionals to build their own networks and connections for the future.
“Our biggest goal is to give exposure to activities outside of the job remit and open communication channels within the company to work towards an optimal collaborative workplace.”
The committee hope that the night, held at the Fourfront Group office in London Bridge, will be the first in a series of similar events, leading to the creation of a professional network for under 30s who have a shared ambition of becoming the next generation of business leaders.
