Fourfront raise £6k at RideLondon
An intrepid team of cyclists from Fourfront Group got on their bikes yesterday to take on the Prudential RideLondon challenge to raise money for charity.
The 12-strong team saddled up at the starting line in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to then follow a 100 mile course through the capital and into the beautiful Surrey countryside. With a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, the final leg looped back into London for a spectacular finish on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.
Raising money through sponsorship for children’s hospice charity Shooting Star Chase, were CEO Clive Lucking, Quality & Environmental Director James Cornwell, Area Sq MD Gary Chandler, Cube MD Trevor Hall, Leeson Medhurst, Jason Bates, Neil Ryan, Matthew Heaman, Nathan Wroughton, Steve Eggleton, Andrew Greiner and Charlie Beamish.
Fourfront Group founding director, James Cornwell, said: “We are so proud to support Shooting Star Chase; RideLondon is just one in a series of events we have organised to raise money for this fantastic charity.
“Later this month we are holding a ‘Tri-Challenge’ in Windsor, where brave members of the company will be facing a fire walk, a catapult across water and a bungee jump – all to raise money for Shooting Star Chase. We are lucky to have a dedicated group of people here at Fourfront, who are always willing to go that extra mile for charity.”
