Fourfront Chairman speaks at Women Conference
On International Women’s Day, we are proud to announce that Fourfront Group Chairman, Aki Stamatis, is speaking this week at the Inspiring Women Conference in Edinburgh.
The annual event, organised by Management Today, is being held for the third time in Scotland. The conference is expected to see around 200 delegates in attendance to hear insights and experience from some of Britain’s highest-flying business women in an interactive and informal setting.
Held on Thursday 9th March at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, speakers on the programme include the Chief Executive of Hobbs, COO of TSB and the CEO of Greggs.
Aki will appear as part of a panel discussion to debate what UK firms must do to empower women, and why men can be their biggest allies.
One of the champions of the Women in Fourfront programme, Aki is an important advocate for female employees across the Group. The initiative was created to encourage women to develop their business skills and support career development through a workshop-style learning environment with quarterly meetings and coaching sessions, the programme is specifically designed around female employees working in what is generally a very ‘male’ industry.
Aki said: “I am delighted to speak at the Inspiring Women Conference. It’s a privilege to be included amongst the other names involved.
“I feel particularly passionate about encouraging female employees in our business and within the industry, and I welcome the chance to be part of this important event.”
